Matcha Collagen Smoothie

Servings 1 smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 small banana (or 1/2 large banana), frozen
  • 2-3 pitted dates or 1 packet stevia
  • 1.5 cups unsweetened almond milk
  • 3 ice cubes
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1-2 handfuls spinach
  • 1 tbsp almond or sun butter (optional)
  • 1 scoop Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen or 1 scoop Collagen Peptides + 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1/4 c granola (optional) I like to use Purely Elizabeth

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in blender except the collagen. Blend on medium high until all ingredients are incorporated and there are no spinach flakes or chunks of dates left.  

  2. Add the collagen and blend on LOW for about 20 seconds to incorporate.  

  3. Pour into a glass, top with granola (optional), and enjoy!
